Kundali Bhagya Takes Twenty-Year Leap; Sana Sayyad To Play The Female Lead

As the show is taking a 20-year time jump, Sana Sayyad will be seen in the character of Dr. Palki Khurana, a kind and compassionate doctor.

New Delhi: ‘Kundali Bhagya’, created by Ekta Kapoor, has captivated many followers since 2017 and has been maintaining people’s interest in the programme. Audiences adored the dynamic duo of Shraddha Arya and Dheeraj Dhoopar because they were a new and exciting combination. Preeta, portrayed by Shraddha, and Karan Luthra, played by Dheeraj. There were several unexpected developments during the years of Kundali Bhagya that kept viewers engaged. However, Dheeraj Dhoopar decided to leave the programme in the middle of its run. Shortly after, Shakti Arora came in to play Karan Luthra.

As the show is taking a 20-year time jump, Sana Sayyad will be seen in the character of Dr. Palki Khurana, a kind, strong, and compassionate medical professional.

Sana discusses how thrilled she is to join the show. She said, "The 20-year leap will bring in loads of high-voltage drama in the show, that will keep the audience hooked to their television screens. And I hope the audience enjoys watching me once again in this new and refreshing avatar."

Talking about her character, Sana said, "Kundali Bhagya is one of the most popular shows and being a part of it is a huge honour in itself. I'm thrilled to be back on TV, especially with such a big show. My character Palki is a very relatable character, she is a girl next door. She is a doctor, who is very loving and caring, and believes in always being there for others."

Paras Kalnawat, Baseer Ali, and Sana Sayyad are joining the cast as the programme takes a generational jump.

Up until this point, the plot had been centred on Shakti Arora's Karan Luthra and Shraddha Arya's Preeta. After Shakti's exit from the show, Shraddha will portray a mother of a young kid.

'Kundali Bhagya' airs on Zee TV.
