Ekta Kapoor's reboot of 'Kasautii Zindagii Kay', featuring Erica Fernandes, Parth Samthaan and Hina Khan in lead roles, is currently one of the most loved shows on small-screen. The 'Star Plus' show, which has claimed 6th spot in this week's TRP lists, will soon witness the entry of a new man in Prerna's (Erica Fernandes) life named 'Vikrant' who will help her in destroying Anurag (Parth Samthaan). Namik Paul was confirmed for the role but later makers decide to cast him as the male lead in 'Kavach 2' instead of 'Kasautii...'. Later, Varun Toorkey was in talks but now Siddharth Shivpuri is confirmed to play 'Vikrant' in the show. Speaking about the same, he told TOI that, "Yes, I am playing Vikrant on the show and will commence the shoot very soon. I am really excited about this character, as it's layered. He has a past with Prerna (Erica) and had helped her in some way. This guy is full of attitude and seems positive. However, his real motive will be revealed at a later stage." On a related note, Vikrant's entry in 'Kasautii Zindagii Kay' will result in an interesting love-triangle between Anurag, Prerna and him.
