Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2's New Mr. Bajaj Aka Karan Patel Tests Negative For COVID-19

Karan Patel, who has replaced Karan Singh Grover in 'Kasautii 2', has tested negative for Coronavirus.

New Delhi: Popular TV actor Karan Patel, who is playing the role of new Mr. Bajaj in Ekta Kapoor’s ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2’, got himself and his family members tested for COVID-19 after his co-star Parth Samthaan was infected with the novel Coronavirus. The shooting for ‘Kasautii 2’ has been stopped and the cast and crew have been asked to undergo COVID-19 tests. Although, Karan has not been shooting for the romantic saga since the past few days, he decided to take a swab test for the safety of the people around him. Also READ: Balaji Telefilms’ Creative Head Tanusri Dasgupta Tests Positive For Coronavirus; Hospitalised “Karan has not been shooting since the last few days but because he is a responsible citizen and feels safety comes first he is getting a swab test done on personal accord for the safety of all around him,” the actor’s publicist said in a statement to Pinkvilla. Karan Patel, while talking to an entertainment portal, has revealed that he tested negative. He told Tellychakkar that his test result came out as negative. Karan Patel has replaced Karan Singh Grover as the new Mr. Bajaj in ‘KZK 2’. KSG was reportedly not willing to return to the sets amid the COVID-19 crisis. Karan, who is fondly known for playing the role of Raman Bhalla opposite Divyanka Tripathi in ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’, has received a good response on social media. His entry was aired in today’s episode of ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2’.
Talking about Parth Samthaan, the actor to social media to inform his fans that he tested positive for COVID-19. He wrote, “Hi everyone , I had mild symtomps and got myself tested. And yes I have been tested Postive for Covid 19 ...hence I would urge and request everyone whose been with me in close proximity over the last few days please go and get yourself tested . The Bmc has regularly been in touch and with the doctors guidance I am in self quarantine and I am grateful to them for all their support . Please be safe and take care.”
Ekta Kapoor shared the first teaser of 'Main Hera Boll Raha Hu' on Twitter and Instagram. The new web series will feature Parth in lead role. The TV Czarina wished for the 'Kaisi Yeh Yaarian' actor's speedy recovery. "Get well soon Parth! @the_parthsamthaan ‘Kasauti...’ is waiting for its ‘Hero’ !," Ekta wrote.
For the uninitiated, the shooting of 'Kundali Bhagya' and 'Kumkum Bhagya' has also been put on halt. Ekta Kapoor is the producer of the two popular shows, which air on Zee TV. Stay tuned for more updates!
