Parth Samthaan aka Anurag Basu of ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2’ recently tested positive for coronavirus.It is now another member from Ekta Kapoor’s Balaji Telefilms who has been hospitalised after she required oxygen support.

After the news of the Bachchan family testing positive for the novel coronavirus broke out, the nation shook. Netizens couldn’t even get the chance to digest the news when another news flared up. This time it was Parth Samthaan, who plays the role of Anurag Basu in Ekta Kapoor’s popular show ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2’ who got contracted with the virus. And now another member of Balaji Telefilms, Tanusri Dasgupta, has been hospitalised after testing positive for COVID-19. Tanusri Dasgupta, the creative head of Ekta Kapoor’s production house Balaji Telefilms, has tested positive for Covid-19. She was hospitalised on Saturday night and is hopeful about being back home soon. Ekta Kapoor’s Balaji Telefilms’ Creative Head Tanusri Dasgupta Tests Positive For Coronavirus; Hospitalised Tanusri Dasgupta with Ekta Kapoor Earlier, Tanusri, was on home quarantine as she showed mild symptoms and didn’t need hospitalisation. But recently she had to be hospitalised as she was in the need of oxygen support. Tanusri was admitted to Seven Hills Hospital in Mumbai and her mother was the one who got contaminated with the disease first. Talking to an entertainment portal, Tanusri says, “I was brought to the hospital on Saturday night when I hit a low on oxygen. The doctor did a blood test and advised me to get admitted so that I can be monitored. Before that I was at home with my mother who had also tested positive. But she did not need to be hospitalised. She was home quarantined and is on her way to recovery.” "I caught a deeper strain I think and had to be admitted. The staff here has been extremely helpful in nursing me back to health. I still have a cough due to bronchitis and am being treated for the same. Yes, it was scary for a few days, but if you are in good hands there is no fear. We all are recovering and I will be back home soon", she added. Ekta Kapoor also reshared the tweet from Balaji Telefilms and informed her fans of everyone’s safety. She wrote, “All necessary precautions being taken, SOPs being followed. Health & safety comes first to us all at Balaji. Take care. Jai Mata Di." Currently, the shooting of Ekta Kapoor’s ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2’ has been put on hold. We wish a speedy recovery to both of them. Watch this space for the latest updates.
