Kapil Sharma Calls Ranbir Kapoor's 'Ex-girlfriend' To Meet Alia Bhatt, Watch Her Reaction
Alia Bhatt will show up for the first episode of The Great Indian Kapil Show season 2.
Alia Bhatt, who has been busy promoting her upcoming film ‘Jigra’, will show up for the first episode of The Great Indian Kapil Show season 2. The actor recently dropped her song Chal Kudiye, with Diljit Dosanjh, from her much-awaited film. Alia will appear on Kapil’s talk show with the film's producer Karan Johar and her co-star Vedang Raina on September 21.
Alia Bhatt meets Ranbir Kapoor's 'ex-girlfriend'
Netflix dropped a new promo from the episode on Wednesday. The short clip showed that Alia is set to meet the ‘girl in Ranbir’s life’.
In the promo, Kapil tells Alia that one of Ranbir’s exes is present on the sets and he invites her on the show. “I want to tell you something today. There was a girl in Ranbir’s life," Kapil said. Alia replied, “Oh, is it?" Kapil then asks her if he can call the girl. Alia asked, “You are going to call her on this show, here?"
When Alia saw Sunil Grover—dressed as Dafli in a saree—walk towards her, she started laughing uncontrollably.

After Karan Johar and Vedang Raina joined the show, Kapil asked Karan about his bond with Alia. “Karan sir, what do you see in Alia? A friend? A daughter? An aunt?" he asked. To which Karan said, "For me, she is my first daughter."
Karan also said, "I have helped many people progress their relationships. However, I am single." Alia was then heard saying, "I want to share one thing about Karan – he has a strong sixth sense. When Ranbir Kapoor and I became friends..." Karan cut her in to say, "As if you became friends..."

Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor tied the knot in April 2022 after dating for a couple years. The couple has a daughter named Raha, who was born in November 2022. On the work front, Alia will be next seen in ‘Jigra’. The film, directed by Vasan Bala, will be released on October 11, 2024.
