JAANA NA DIL SE DOOR: Shashank Vyas to LEAVE the show

New Delhi: Star Plus show ‘Jaana Na Dil Se Door’ will see exit of an important character from the show. Well, this comes as shock for fans of the show. Earlier there were reports that show will go off-air very soon but nothing of that sort is going to happen in near future. ‘Balika Vadhu’ actor Shashank Vyas, who plays the role of Ravish, will bid adieu to the show. As per news in a leading news portal, Shashank Vyas’ role has been cut short abruptly. According to the source of portal, “Shashank will exit the show by the end of this month. It has not been smooth sailing for him ever since he joined the project. His apprehensions about his role didn't go down well with the makers. At one point, Shashank wanted to quit, but the differences were resolved and he decided to continue. However, he recently expressed his displeasure over his track once again, which may have infuriated the makers further.” On the other hand, Shashank said, “I was informed about my track ending. I played the character with utmost sincerity. I have nothing more to say." Producer of the show, Yash Patnaik refuted the rumour of cold war with Shashank and said, “The closure of Ravish's track was discussed at length three weeks in advance. Shashank was informed about the same two weeks ago. So, how can it be overnight? There has never been any conflict or disagreement between us. Shashank is a talented and thinking actor. All his queries have been addressed. His track is ending because we have exhausted every possible angle." In ‘Jaana Na Dil Se Door’, Shivani Surve aka Vividha and Vikram Singh Chauhan aka Atharv play the lead roles.
