Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon: Barun Sobti-Sanaya Irani’s show to be BACK on Star Plus

New Delhi: Barun Sobti and Sanaya Irani starrer ‘Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon’ created ripples on the small screen when it was launched in June 2011. The romantic saga made Sanaya and Barun household names and  it went on to become one of the most popular shows on Star Plus. Fans were disappointed when IPKKND went off air after Barun’s exit but they had made it very clear on social media that they can’t see any other actor play the role of Arnav Singh Raizada. The fans of the show can rejoice as the channel is all set to bring back IPKKND season one on popular demand. Yes, you read that right! The season one of the show will re-air on Star Plus from January 7 at 4pm slot. The channel shared a promo for the show on Twitter with the caption, ‘’ Back on popular demand... Time to relive the love story of Khushi and Arnav! #IssPyaarKoKyaNaamDoon, Starting from 7th Jan, Mon-Fri at 4pm only on StarPlus. #IPKKNDrewind.’’ Check out the video! Fans have flooded the comments section with the messages and they are super happy to see the sizzling chemistry of Sanaya and Barun once again. Check out some of the tweets! ‘Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon’ became a big franchise and the channel launched season two featuring Avinash Sachdev and Shrenu Parikh in lead roles in early primetime slot. The makers of the original show came back with IPKKND 3 with Barun Sobti and Shivani Tomar in 2017 but the third season couldn’t re-create the same magic and it failed to grab decent TRPs.
