Instagram Deactivates 'Bigg Boss 13' Contestant Hindustani Bhau's Account After Netizens Report His Controversial Video

Instagram has removed Hindustani Bhau's handle after several users reported his account for violating the guidelines.

New Delhi: ‘Bigg Boss 13’ contestant Hindustani Bhau trended on Twitter after Instagram suspended his account for violating rules. Hindustani Bhau, who was in news for registering a complaint against Ekta Kapoor and her mother Shobhaa Kapoor for allegedly ‘disrespecting the Indian Army’, recently shared an abusive video on Instagram which was later taken down. Many celebs and users including Kubbra Sait slammed the video and asked Mumbai Police to take strict against Hindustani Bhau. 'Sacred Games' actress Kubbra Sait wrote, "Why do people like this still have access to social media? Why is nothing legally being done to these who instigate? Who gives them the power to get away with words? Why is there no action being taken? " Netizens, who reported the ‘BB 13’ contestant’s Instagram account, shared screenshots on social media after the handle was deactivated. The message read, "We've removed hindustanibhau's account because it goes against our Community Guidelines."

Comedian Kunal Kamra tagged Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh and Mumbai Police while sharing the video and tweeted,"Calling for open violence is a crime. This is a mob building & hate spreading excercise. This is deeply alarming. Could lead to violence & an artist not getting due process." (Source- Twitter) TV actress Kavita Kaushik, while replying to Farah Khan Ali's tweet, wrote, "Knowing our society he will be offered a reality show and celebrated , if not already!"

Hindustani Bhau, whose real name is Vikas Pathak, participated in Salman Khan's 'Bigg Boss 13' last year. He entered the popular reality show as a wild-card contestant. Hindustani Bhau had filed an FIR against Ekta Kapoor and her mother for the inappropriate portrayal of the Indian Army in her web series ‘XXX: Uncensored 2’.
