Himanshi Khurana Breaks Silence On Breakup With Asim Riaz: ‘I Don’t Mind Being The Villain’

New Delhi: Punjabi actor and model Himanshi Khurana has been an inspiration for many of her fans. From her fitness journey to a very public scrutiny post her breakup with 'Bigg Boss 13' contestant Asim Riaz, Himanshi’s ability to bounce back has impressed her fans. Recently, Himanshi shed light on her breakup with Riaz and how it affected her mental health.
At ABP Live’s Health Conclave Punjab 2024, Himanshi spoke about how her breakup affected her mental state, especiall6 with the hate that came along her way on social media.
Calling her breakup the ‘hardest time’, she said, “I don’t mind being the villain, because at the end of the day whether you have 11 million or 20 million followers, aap akele hote ho( you are completely alone). Mujhe lagta hai, followers ye sb totally fake hai , mujhe pata hai because I'm an insider(I feel, all of these followers and these things that come along are fake. I know this because I am an insider. Mujhe laga health se upar kuch nhi, kyunki mere mental health pe aa gyi thi ye baat( I feel nothing is more important than your mental health and health in general).
How Himanshi moved on
Himanshi also shared how a healthy enviornment, being surrounded by the people who love and support you can really help you come along. “Apka environment healthy hona boht zaruri hai, apka environment toxic na ho to sb theek ho jata hai..galat environmnet mein apki gut apko bata deti hai ki something's not right…( Your environment should be healthy, when your environment is not toxic, everything becomes right, your body clock resets itself when you listen to your gut).
Himanshi on mental health
The 'Sadda Haq' actress also opened up about the pressures of talking about mental health issues and an agitated mind.
She added how we are so fearful of judgment when it comes to talking about mental health. The ‘Bigg Boss 13’ fame actor also shared how being affected by her breakup with Asim Riaz led her to be in an agitated state of mind, and how she had to tell her close ones to not mind her actions when she was not in control, or reacted to situations.
When Himanshi was asked about her marriage plans, she clearly denied saying, “Shadi wala chapter mera close hai ab, mujhe nhi lagta mera kuch hoga…,( The marriage chapter is close forever)” jokingly adding that no mother-in-law would accept her with the health issues she has.
“Meri itni health problems ke sath mujhe nhi lagta meri sas mujhe jhel pati. Meri saas hi kehti, ye taa beemriyan da ghar le anada hai nal.”( My mother-in-law would say that she has brought along a house of illnesses.)

Himanshi was in a relationship with her Bigg Boss co-contestant Asim Riaz from January 2020 to December 2023. Her quite publicaly covered relationship did not end well. Himanshi's longtime boyfriend and fiance Chow had broken up with her because of Asim's closeness with Himanshi on the Salman Khan-hosted show. Later, when things turned ugly, HImashi stepped in on Asim's behalf and asked netizens and fans to forgive him.
