Ashneer Grover made a surprise cameo in a new promo video of 'Roadies 19: Karm ya Kaand'.
New Delhi: Ashneer Grover, a former managing director and co-founder of BharatPe, is all set to make a comeback on television, but not with Shark Tank India. The former reality show judge has joined the 'Roadies 19: Karm ya Kaand' panel.
New gang leaders and host Sonu Sood are featured in a new promo video that the producers released on Saturday. In the video, Ashneer made a surprise cameo that shocked his fans. The clip begins with a glimpse of one of the interview rounds for people chosen from auditions held throughout Indian cities. The new "contestant auction" round, featuring Ashneer Grover, is revealed by Sonu Sood in the video.
Gang leaders will be seen competing with one another in an effort to "buy" the participants. In a scene, Ashneer tells someone, “Bheek hi mang raha hai na. Bhai le lo mereko (you're begging me).”

Ashneer last appeared in the first season of Shark Tank India and quickly gained popularity. But earlier this year, he skipped the second season. On social media, he revealed that he unfollowed each shark from the first season of Shark Tank India. Later, Amit Jain took his spot in the show.
At IIT Kharagpur's annual fest, Ashneer talked about why he didn’t return in later seasons of the show.
“Teesra, chautha, paanchwa season main nahi karne waala, mere se likhwa le. Aur uska reason yeh hai ke mujhe life mein aage badhna hai, peeche nahi. Life main aage badhna zaruri hota hai. Main bilkul stuck nahi hoon Shark Tank ko le ke. Life ka ek episode tha, kiya, maza aaya, fame kamaya, acha tha, ab woh aur kuch karenge. Hogaya uska (I won't be returning for the third, fourth, or even fifth season, and I'll put it in writing for you. And I'll tell you why: I think life is about moving forward, not turning backwards. I had fun on Shark Tank while it lasted and became famous, but it's time to move on now.)” Ashneer said.
In addition to Ashneer, 'Roadies 19' also marks star Rhea Chakraborty's comeback to television after the controversy surrounding her drug-related imprisonment.
