Rahul Vaidya and Disha Parmar announced that they are expecting their first child.
New Delhi: Rahul Vaidya and Disha Parmar announced on Instagram that they are expecting their first child. They penned an adorable welcome note as parents and showed sonograms of their unborn child. A picture of the couple holding a tiny chalkboard with the words "Mummy & Daddy" on it was posted by Disha to Instagram.
"Hello from Mummy Daddy to be & the BABY!!" she wrote in the caption. The actor and her husband were dressed similarly in basic black attires. They shared a picture of the pair as well as a picture and video of the sonogram.

They received many well wishes and congratulations in the comments section from fans and friends. The pair also got best wishes from colleagues in the industry including Jasmin Bhasin, Anita Hassanandani, Mouni Roy, Bharti Singh, Aly Goni, and Nakuul Mehta.
On July 16, 2021, in Mumbai, the couple got married. While he was a contestant on 'Bigg Boss 14', the singer proposed to the actor. Rahul had previously revealed during a Zoom Digital interview that the couple met on Instagram.
"I had done a song 'Mere Rashke Qamar', which went viral on social media. She happened to see it on Jitesh Pillai's Instagram. And that's the time she actually went up to my profile and she just dropped a message that 'loved it and very well sung'. And that's the time we started talking to each other on Instagram first," he said.
After taking part in the first season of the singing reality series 'Indian Idol', Rahul Vaidya became popular. Recently, he took part in 'Khatron Ke Khiladi 11'. Disha is best known for the television series 'Pyaar Ka Dard Hai Meetha'. The duo recently made an appearance in the singer's 'Prem Kahani' song video.
