Actress Dalljiet Kaur and Nikhil Patel are preparing special performances for their big day. The wedding will take place on March 18.

New Delhi: Actress Dalljiet Kaur, whose marriage with ex-Bigg Boss participant Shalin Bhanot was rough, has found happiness again. The actress is engaged to Nikhil Patel, a UK-based businessman. As per the recent reports, there will be a ceremony before the actual wedding on March 17. The duo is preparing special performances for her big day. The wedding will take place on March 18.

A source close to the actress told ETimes, “Yes, the wedding is on March 18. All her friends are very happy for Dalljiet and quite excited about the big day. She deserves a second chance at love and marriage. We are glad she has found Nikhil. The two are made for each other.”

In an interview with ETimes, Dalljiet spoke about how her son Jaydon reacted to meeting Nikhil Patel and how is he taking the wedding news. “Jaydon is quite mature for his age. I have dated before, and he would ask me if I was considering the guy for marriage. He has always yearned for a father, but I needed to be sure that I got him a good dad and myself a good husband because it’s a matter of our lives. However, when he met Nik for the first time a couple of months ago, he addressed him as papa on his own.” she was quoted as saying by ETimes.

Dalljiet became a household name after playing the main role in the popular TV series Kulvaddhu in 2006. She married her co-actor Shalin Bhanot in 2009 and the couple had their son, Jaydon, in 2014. In 2009, they won the dancing reality programme Nach Baliye.

Dalljiet has also appeared in a wide variety of television series, including Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon, Kaala Teeka, and Sasural Genda Phool 2.
