We had earlier informed you that popular TV actress Devoleena Bhattacharjee would participate in ‘Bigg Boss 13’. However, a report in an entertainment portal has suggested that Devoleena has backed out of the show at the last minute because of remuneration issues. The names of Devoleena Bhattacharjee, Mugdha Godse, Sidharth Shukla, Chunky Pandey, Rajpal Yadav, Aditya Narayan and Mahika were floating in the media as confirmed contestants of ‘Bigg Boss 13’. However, the latest report has said that the celebs have opted out of the show because they were not happy with the money being offered to them.

"After a final meeting held in a 5 star hotel with the channel, those celebs have decided not to be locked in Bigg Boss house as the makers are not ready to pay as per their demands. Chunkey Panday, Rajpal Yadav and Zareen Khan, who asked for Rs 1 lakh per week, are being offered only Rs 50,000 per week. Coming to TV Queen Devoleena and Ankita, who asked more than Rs 80,000, have been offered only Rs 30,000. Interestingly controversial queen Mahika Sharma, whom fans wanted on the show, got swapped by Mahira Sharma. Mahika demanded a huge amount to join the show," a source close to the celebs told International Business Times India.

Devoleena Bhattacharjee was fondly known for her role of Gopi Bahu in Star Plus’ Saath Nibhana Saathiya’. She replaced Gia Manek, who played the role originally.
