Asim Riaz has been all over the internet ever since he was expelled from 'Khatron Ke Khiladi 14' for his behaviour. The Bigg Boss 13 runner-up had an altercation with the contestants, calling them losers, and also argued with the host, Rohit Shetty. During a heated argument with the show's makers, he boasted about his money and cars, stating that he participated in the show only for his fans. Netizens criticised him for his arrogance, while many felt he was provoked by other contestants, particularly Abhishek Kumar. This isn't the first time Asim has talked about his wealth; in an old interview with Siddharth Kanan, he made similar statements.
Asim Riaz on the negativity surrounding his journey
Addressing the negativity surrounding his journey, Asim said in the interview, ” People ask me why I'm not acting. My surname is Riaz Chaudhary; nobody's going to knock on my door and give me a movie role. A lot of people have approached me, but it's always a scam, and I know it. Recently, this happened again. They set up a meeting, claiming to be from a big label, and conducted workshops, and I enjoyed it. But when it came time to discuss money, they didn’t want to pay. Unfortunately, these people only want to work with those who are already well-connected. While the news is full of stories about people charging 2 crores or 5 crores, the headlines about me are always that Asim Riaz isn't getting any movie offers.”
Asim calling out his haters
He then urged his fans and others to focus on his achievements rather than his negatives and mentioned that the kind of money and cars he has, his haters will never be able to attain.
“I want to tell my fans to appreciate me rather than focusing on the negatives. I gained fame in Bigg Boss, and for some reason, everyone is trying to break my record. I created something unique, it's okay; why can't you sleep because of it? Someone achieved 15 million views and broke my record—so what? Who I am, you'll never be that person. The mindset I have, you'll never possess that mindset. The money I have, you'll never earn that kind of money, The cars I own, you'll never drive.”
Asim on his temper issues
In the interview, Asim also spoke about his temper issues. "I have temper problems. If somebody pisses me off, I will grab them by the neck and ask why they did it. That's why I stay away from all the negativity."
