Ankita Lokhande Pens Heartfelt Note For Sushant Singh Rajput On Completing 15 Years In Industry: 'Without His Guidance..'

New Delhi: Actress Ankita Lokhande made her acting debut as Archana in Ektaa Kapoor's popular drama 'Pavitra Rishta', on June 2. To mark the special occasion, the actress shared a heartfelt note expressing gratitude for the love she has received over the years. The show also starred the late Sushant Singh Rajput in a leading role.

Ankita fondly remembered Sushant and his supportive nature on the set, in her post that she shared on Instagram. The actress also shared a video compilation featuring memorable moments from "Pavitra Rishta" along with snippets from her other projects, including her role in the 2019 film "Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi." The montage included a clip from her appearance on "Bigg Boss 17," where she reminisced about "Pavitra Rishta."

Sharing the post, Ankita captioned it as, "It’s not just 15 years of Archana, it’s also 15 years of Archana and Manav, a couple who personified love, marriage, understanding and companionship. They’re perfect. They’re what we call “Goals”. They taught me what perfect marriage means. I bet there’s no on-screen couple as real, sweet and iconic as Archana and Manav, and most of its credit goes to the audience who showered so much love on us. And of course, we could create that magic because of Ekta ma’am’s trust in us."

Talking about her co-star Sushant Singh Rajput, who essayed the role of Manav, Ankita wrote, "Manav completed Archana. He was, is and always will be remembered whenever Archana will be mentioned because their Pavitra Rishta was as pure as my pavitra rishta with you all! Without his guidance, I wouldn’t have become what I am today. Without Manav, there’s no Archana. As much as it’s my celebration, it’s his too. We are proud of what you’ve achieved and the acting prowess you’ve shown."

Concluding her post, she wrote, "And remember, aasmaan me jab tak sitaare rahenge, hum ek doosre ke sahaare rahenge. Nazdeekiyaan ya ho dooriyaan, bas pyaar hi rahega darmiyaan…. Pavitra Rishta then now and forever ♥️"

For those unfamiliar, Ankita Lokhande and Sushant Singh Rajput shared the screen in 'Pavitra Rishta', portraying the roles of Archana and Manav, respectively. The former couple fell in love on the sets and dated for nearly five years before parting ways. Sushant passed away in June 2020.
