SS Rajamouli Opens Up About Film With Mahesh Babu: James Bond Or Indiana Jones Film With Indian Roots

New Delhi: After the smashing success of 'RRR', fans are eagerly waiting for SS Rajamouli to announce his next project. While we know that his next is with Mahesh Babu, the director off late shared some details about his upcoming film with Mahesh Babu. SS Rajamouli, who is currently in Canada for the Toronto International Film Festival, opened up about his upcoming film leaving fans anticipating for more.
The 'RRR' director said, "My next film with Mahesh Babu will be a globetrotting action adventure. It’s going to be a kind of James Bond or Indiana Jones film with Indian roots!" quoted a Pinkvilla report.

According to the same report, where earlier it was being reported that the film will star by the end of 2022, it is now being said that the Mahesh Babu film will go on floors in 2023 as Mahesh Babu is busy with Trivikram Srinivas' film SSMB28.
Mahesh Babu, who is also collaborating with SS Rajamouli for the first time shared his excitement of working on the project. "It’s a dream come true for me to work with him. Doing one film with Rajamouli garu is like taking up 25 films at once. It’s going to be physically demanding and I’m really excited about it. It’s going to be a pan-India film. I hope we break many barriers and take our work to audiences across the country," Pinkvilla quoted.
Meanwhile, SS Rajamouli has been receiving praise from all quarters for his exceptional epic-period drama 'RRR'. The Jr. NTR and Ram Charan starrer is also in the talks of going to the Oscars 2023.
