Samantha Ruth Prabhu Shares Cryptic Message As Fans Slam Naga Chaitanya: 'You Don’t Have To..'

Samantha Ruth Prabhu recently made headlines after a Telangana minister, Konda Surekha, made shocking claims regarding her divorce from Naga Chaitanya.

Samantha Ruth Prabhu recently made headlines after a Telangana minister, Konda Surekha, made shocking claims regarding her divorce from Naga Chaitanya. While both Samantha and Naga Chaitanya released statements refuting the allegations, Naga Chaitanya faced backlash on social media for referring to her as his "former spouse" rather than using her name in his response. Neither star has commented on the controversy, but Samantha's recent Instagram story has caught people's attention.

Samantha Ruth Prabhu shares cryptic post

The 'Yashoda' actress shared a post that read, “You don’t have to do something huge to make a huge difference,” without adding any caption. This post comes just days after Konda Surekha claimed that KT Rama Rao (KTR) was allegedly involved in the couple's split.

Konda Surekha’s Shocking Claims

Surekha alleged that KTR had demanded Samantha be sent to him in exchange for sparing Nagarjuna's N-Convention Centre from demolition. When Samantha refused, she claimed, this led to her separation from Naga Chaitanya. “KTR asked to send Samantha in return for not demolishing the N-convention centre. Nagarjuna forced Samantha to go to KTR, but she said no. That led to divorce,” Surekha stated, as quoted by Deccan Herald.

Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s Response

Samantha responded to these claims with a strongly worded statement on Instagram. “To be a woman, to come out and work, to survive in a glamorous industry where women are more often than not treated as props, to fall in love & to fall out of love, to still stand up and fight… It takes a lot of courage and strength,” she wrote.

Addressing Surekha directly, Samantha added, “Konda Surekha Garu, I am proud of what this journey turned me into—please don’t trivialise it. I hope you realise that your words carry significant weight as a minister. I implore you to be responsible and respectful of individuals’ privacy.”

Naga Chaitanya’s Reaction

Naga Chaitanya also addressed K Surekha's claims in a social media statement, saying, “The decision of divorce is easily one of the most painful and unfortunate life decisions one has to make. After a lot of thought, a mutual decision was made by me and my former spouse to part ways.”

He continued, “It was a decision made in peace, owing to our different life goals and in the interest of moving forward with respect and dignity as two mature adults.” He further dismissed the rumors and gossip, stating, “There have been various baseless and completely ridiculous gossips on the matter so far. I have remained silent all this while out of deep respect for my earlier spouse as well as my family.”

Nagarjuna’s Legal Action

Nagarjuna, Naga Chaitanya's father, confirmed that legal action is being taken against K Surekha's claims. In a statement to *Times Now*, he said, “We filed a criminal defamation case yesterday. We are in the process of filing another Rs 100-crore defamation lawsuit against her. Her outrageous comments cannot be allowed to slide under the crack. She now says she is withdrawing her remarks. She has apparently apologised to Samantha. What about my family? Not a word of apology to me and to my family!”
