Ram Charan And Jr NTR RRR 2 Confirmed; SS Rajamouli May Not Direct The Sequel
Vijayendra Prasad stated that SS Rajamouli will only supervise 'RRR 2', the Telugu film's second installment.
New Delhi: The sequel to SS Rajamouli's period drama 'RRR', and in which Ram Charan and Jr. NTR play the main characters, is now in the making. Vijayendra Prasad, the Oscar-winning movie's screenwriter and Rajamouli's father, stated that the filmmaker will only supervise 'RRR 2', the Telugu film's second installment.
Ram Charan and Jr. NTR, two Telugu superstars, will both return for the sequel, Vijayendra added. It's possible that the same plot will not be continued in Part 2. Most likely, it is based on another episode from the Telugu states' pre-Independence era.
"We are planning to make a sequel of Ram Charan and NTR's RRR. The movie will be directed by SS Rajamouli or someone else under his supervision," Vijayendra stated during an interview with a Telugu channel.
'RRR 2' won't begin until Rajamouli completes his 'SSMB29', according to Prasad, who also said that the film will be much larger than 'RRR'. The next film to be directed by Rajamouli would star Mahesh in an Indiana Jones-style adventure movie. After that, Rajamouli will probably focus on his adaptation of the Mahabharata, which will be released as a 10-part series.
Rajamouli's magnum opus 'RRR' is a fictional tale that takes place in the 1920s, during the pre-independence era, and is based on the lives of two heroes Alluri Sitarama Raju and Komaram Bheem. Ram Charan played Ram, and Jr. NTR played Bheem. Ajay Devgn and Alia Bhatt had major roles in the movie. The Telugu movie was also dubbed in Indian languages like Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi.
The song 'Naatu Naatu' from the movie, written by MM Keeravani, became an international hit after the dance number won India its first-ever Golden Globe and Academy Award for Best Original Song.
