Kiran Abbavaram, Rahasya Gorak Get Engaged In A Private Ceremony

Actors Kiran Abbavaram and Rahasya Gorak got engaged in an intimate gathering in Hyderabad on March 13.

New Delhi: Actors Kiran Abbavaram and Rahasya Gorak got engaged in an intimate gathering in Hyderabad on March 13. The couple, who initially met on the set of the 2019 film "Raja Vaaru Rani Gaaru," sealed their commitment by exchanging rings surrounded by loved ones on Wednesday.

The engagement ceremony took place at a resort in Hyderabad, commencing at 4 pm. While Rahasya chose an elegant green saree paired with an intricately embroidered blouse and diamond accessories,  Kiran opted for an ivory kurta-pyjama ensemble. Beaming with joy, the actors exchanged garlands and rings, warmly greeting their guests and capturing precious moments in photographs.

There are reports that the couple will get married in a foreign location in August followed by reception in Hyderabad for friends and colleagues from the film industry.

Kiran and Rahasya made their debut in Telugu film industry through 2019 film 'Raja Vaaru Rani Gaaru' directed by Ravi Kiran Kola. The movie being an important part of their life, the couple incorporated a selfie booth adorned with the film's name into their engagement celebrations.

Despite maintaining discretion about their relationship, subtle hints have been dropped along the way. Rahasya's Instagram bio "#RajaVaaruRaniGaaru my forever" alongside symbols of infinity and hearts, suggests their enduring bond. Similarly, during a 2023 interview on Dawath with Ashu Reddy, Kiran blushed when questioned about his relationship with Rahasya, coyly responding, "There is nothing like that, we will announce when there's something."

Since his debut, Kiran has worked in films, including 'SR Kalyanamandapam,' 'Sammathame, and ‘Meter.' He was last seen in 'Rules Ranjan,' following which he took a brief hiatus from the silver screen after facing a series of setbacks. He will next be seen in a film alongside Rukshar Dhillon. Meanwhile, Rahasya gained acclaim for her lead role in the Tamil film 'Sharbat' in 2021. She is yet to announce any new projects following its release.
