Shah Rukh Khan Drops A Hint At Working With Director Atlee, Fans Speculate Film In The Making

On Tuesday, the 'Raees' actor took to his Twitter handle, revealing that he was sitting with Atlee. Shah Rukh also mentioned that both him and Atlee are great fans of Vijay.

New Delhi: Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan made his fans rejoice with excitement as he hinted on working with directpr Atlee, for his upcoming project. On Tuesday, the 'Raees' actor took to his Twitter handle, revealing that he was sitting with Atlee. Although the actor later continued that they were watching together the trailer of Thalapathy Vijay's upcoming action thriller 'Beast', fans are reading between the lines and interpreting the unsaid part as "discussing a film."

In his tweet, Shah Rukh also mentioned that both him and Atlee are great fans of Vijay. He tweeted, "Sitting with @Atlee_dir who is as big a fan of @actorvijay as I am. Wishing the best for beast to the whole team…trailer looks meaner…. Leaner… stronger!!"

As soon as SRK tweeted, fans went crazy and flooded the comments section, asking King Khan and Atlee to collaborate soon. One twitter user wrote, "Thank you to the Badshah of Bollywood Shah Rukh Khan sir for his tweet on #Beast trailer. Excellent gesture. He also admits he's a big fan of #ThalapathyVijay. Genuine appreciation for the brilliant trailer. Expecting #ThalapathyVijay and SRK in a film together."

Previously, it was reported that Shah Rukh Khan and Atlee are working together on a film, which also stars south actress Nayanthara. The film, touted to be an action thriller, is titled 'Lion'.

On the work front, Shah Rukh Khan is currently busy shooting for his action-thriller 'Pathan' and already has the audience on the edge ever since the film's announcement. Directed by Siddharth Anand, the film is being produced under the Yash Raj Films banner and also stars Deepika Padukone and John Abraham in lead roles. The team recently wrapped up the film's shoot schedule in Spain.
