New Delhi: Samantha Ruth Prabhu was recently in the US. The 'Family Man 2' actress whose purpose of the trip was a mystery to many has given rise to rumours about her undergoing treatment for some 'rare skin condition' in the States. Many even said that her medical condition has been the reason why Samantha has been refraining from making public appearances recently. In fact, many fans had earlier expressed their concern for Samnatha's absence from social media. Now, these rumours have added more fuel to Samantha's recent absence from public spaces.

However, Samantha's manager Mahendra has quashed all rumours about her alleged skin condition. In an interaction with The Indian Express, Mahendra said, "It’s just gossip," without revealing anything about Samantha's trip to the US.

The rumours have been so far-fetched that many have claimed that Samatha's trips abroad have caused the delay of her upcoming film 'Kushi' with Vijay Devreakonda. However, according to The Indian Express report, the shooting of 'Kushi' has been going uninterrupted and like earlier, filmmakers still have plans to release the movie during Christmas 2022.

Meanwhile, Samantha has become extremely popular especially after her performance in `Oo Antava song from the blockbuster Telugu film 'Pushpa: The Rise' starring Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna. Samantha also received a lot of appreciation from her performance in 'The Family Man Season 2' as an LTTE operative.

Samantha had also appeared on the celebrity talk show ‘Koffee With Karan Season 7’ along with Akshay Kumar recently. Since then, the actress has not been seen a lot in public spaces. Her episode created quite a storm and generated its fair share of controversies, owing to the nature of the talk show.
