Call Me Bae Twitter Review: Netizens’ Reactions To Ananya Panday Starrer Are Funnier Than The Show Itself
The comedy-drama series ‘Call Me Bae’, directed by Collin D'Cunha, marked Ananya Panday's OTT debut.

‘Call Me Bae’, directed by Collin D'Cunha and produced by Karan Johar, marked Ananya Panday's OTT debut. The comedy-drama series released on Prime Video on Friday. Ananya's character Bella ‘Bae’ Chowdhary gets a downgrade from being an heiress to a hustler after a massive scandal.
The actor portrays Bella as she makes her way through the chaotic city of Mumbai after her family abandons her in the series, which chronicles a "riches to rags" journey.

After binge-watching the series, a lot of social media users have shared their 'Call Me Bae' reviews on X (formerly Twitter).
Call Me Bae review: Ananya Panday 's show is self-aware to the right degree by sending itself up just enough, not letting self-righteousness weigh its exaggerations down. It’s only when it starts getting too woke and serious that it bites off more than it can chew.#CallMeBae… pic.twitter.com/L78WarPVHB

Vapid, humourless and an absurd fantasy, you can tell #CallMeBae is written by people whose engagement with journalism starts with Instagram and ends with TV news.https://t.co/TZg3It59Ax#CallMeBaeOnPrime pic.twitter.com/aLZIzZCOu2

Collin D’Cunha surely has what it takes. Call Me Bae, which is streaming on Amazon Prime from September 6, is no ordinary happening. It is monstrously entertaining and insanely…
#CallMeBae didn't impressed me.😐The show has so so many forced moments, dialogues and characters borrowed from social media and other movies, that it just appears cliché and a spoof. #AnanyaPanday #CallMeBaeOnPrime https://t.co/eIgkLxL0as

"Call Me Bae" suffers from being clichéd, lacking depth, and uninventive storytelling. Despite energetic performances, it feels repetitive with predictable plotlines and missed opportunities for sharper execution. #CallMeBae #PrimeVideo https://t.co/I76ZcWI4EA

but like ananya‘a acting has genuinely improved 🙌🏼
#CallMeBae is completely whacky, OTT and cheesy but guess what, it works as a super bingeable series. @ananyapandayy continues to showcase her acting skills as a ditzy heiress turned pauper. Dialogues are sharp and hilarious and @thevirdas is a hoot!!! 😂
