Official Trailer For Modi Season 2: From CM To PM Is Out Now; Series Premier In November

The official trailer for the second season of the web series on Prime Minister Narendra Modi is out now! The new season will focus on his journey from becoming a CM to the Prime Minister.

New Delhi: The trailer for the second season of 'Modi: Journey Of A Common Man' is out now. The season titled Modi Season 2: From CM To PM will be a 3 episode series and will be premiered in Eros Now on November 12th, 2020. The series stars Mahesh Thakur as Prime Minister Modi, web series also features Ashish Sharma, Faizal Khan, Darshan Jariwalla, Prachee Shah Paandya, Makrand Deshpande and Anang Desai. Eros Now released the trailer on Twitter on Wednesday.

The first season which premiered in April 2019 showed the journey of the prime minister from childhood to how he began his political career and became the chief minister of Gujarat. In a statement, Mahesh expressed happiness about playing the titular role in Modi Season 2 – CM to PM. He said, “Ever since childhood, we have often heard about the marvellous journey of our PM Narendra Modi, and it’s a story that has marked a prestigious place in the history of our nation. Playing such a prestigious character is honestly an honour, but comes with great responsibilities. I am excited and looking forward to the viewer’s response. I am confident they will love the entire series,” according to Indian Express The second season focuses on his political career, his journey to becoming the chief minister of Gujarat, serving the two terms, and how he becomes the prime minister of India. Modi series has been directed by Umesh Shukla and will be released in five languages – Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Gujarati.
