Sandalwood Singer Sushmitha Commits Suicide By Hanging Herself

Talented singer Sushmitha's sudden demise has left her family, friends as well as fans shocked.

New Delhi: Sandalwood singer Sushmitha, who has crooned for various Kannada films including 'Haalu Thuppa' and 'Srisamanya' is no more. The 26-year-old playback singer, who hails from Mandya in Karnataka, has commited suicide in the morning today (February 17) in Bengaluru. Reportedly, she lost her life by hanging herself at her house. According to a TOI report, Sushmitha has allegedly committed suicide due to torture by her husband. She had event sent a WhatsApp message to her mother before ending her life. Sushmitha was married to Sharat Kumar. A case has been registered by Annapoorneshwari Nagara police. The talented singer's sudden demise has left her family, friends as well as fans shocked. May her soul rest in peace!
