Sushant Singh Rajput's EX Manager Disha Salian Commits Suicide, Varun Sharma Says 'Am At Loss Of Words'

'Fukrey' actor Varun Sharma penned an emotional note, mourning the loss of his former manager Disha Salian. She committed suicide by jumping off a building.

New Delhi: Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s former manager Disha Salian committed suicide on Monday (June 8) by jumping off a building in Malad, Mumbai. According to report in an entertainment portal, Disha was with her fiancé when she committed suicide. She jumped off the 14^th floor of a building on Monday night. Disha was rushed to a hospital in Borivali where the doctors declared her dead, the report in Peeping Moon said. Mumbai Police officers have recorded her parents’ statement and they will soon record her fiance’s statement, the report added. The reason behind her suicide is not known yet. Disha, who reportedly started her career as a public relations manager, was working with Bunty Sajdeh's Cornerstone Sport & Entertainment Limited. The celebrity manager had also managed artists like Varun Sharma, Rhea Chakraborty and comedian Bharti Singh. Varun Sharma shared a picture with Disha on social media, mourning her death. He wrote, "Am at a loss of words . Speechless. Numb . It all looks unreal .So many memories. Such a lovely person and a dear friend . You always wore that smile everyday , and with such kindness you dealt with everything that came your way . You will be deeply missed.Prayers and Strength to the Family. I still can’t believe Disha you’re gone. Gone too Soon."

Earlier,  TV actors Preksha Mehta and Manmeet Grewal had also committed suicide. Preksha, seen in 'Crime Petrol', was found hanging from a ceiling fan in her room in Indore. “Preksha was quite tensed as the shoots were stopped due to COVID-19 lockdown. She was upset over the fact that the lockdown period was extended in Mumbai and the chances of shoots getting resumed were bleak.
