Superstar Rajinikanth Lauds Ranveer Singh's '83', Calls It 'Magnificent'

New Delhi: Ranveer Singh starrer film '83' has been garnering all the appreciation not only from fans but also from Bollywood celebrities. Superstar Rajinikanth is the latest to join the list of people who have lavished praise on the recently released cricket epic '83', which showcases the journey of India's triumph at the 1983 World Cup.

Rajinikanth, took to Twitter to share his opinion about the film. Being all praises for the sports drama, the veteran actor said, "#83TheMovie wow what a movie… magnificent!!! Many congratulations to the producers."

The actor also tagged director Kabir Khan, cricket icon Kapil Dev, actor Ranveer Singh and Tamil actor Jiiva, who plays cricketer Srikkanth in the film.

This apart, Rajinikanth also congratulated the entire cast and crew of the film. The movie is receiving positive feedback from both fans and critics.

The makers of the film had amped up the audience's excitement with the release of the trailer itself. The film's songs are also full of patriotic vigour. The film '83' that released on December 24, has been receiving a lot of acclaim for the power-packed performance by Ranveer Singh and his on-screen team including actors like Saquib Saleem, Harrdy Sandhu, Amy Virk among others. The film also stars Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone, who essays the role of Ranveer's wife as Romi Dev in the film.

Deepika is also one of the producers of the film.

Kamal Haasan's Raajkamal Films International and Akkineni Nagarjuna's Annapurna Studios have joined hands with Reliance Entertainment to present the film's Tamil and Telugu versions, respectively.

Prithviraj's production firm and Kichcha Sudeepa's Shalini Arts have presented the film's Malayalam and Kannada versions.
