‘Sooryavanshi’ Box Office: Akshay Kumar-Katrina Kaif's Film To Set Cash Registers Jingling, Early Trends Suggest

New Delhi: Akshay Kumar’s ‘Sooryavanshi’ is here to entertain the audience after a long wait of 1.5 years. The release of this movie during the festive time of Diwali proved to be the icing on the cake. Featuring Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif in lead roles, this Rohit Shetty movie released in theatres on November 5, 2021.

Soon after its release, ‘Sooryavanshi’ has been garnering lot of positive reviews from the audience. The movie embarked to a good start reportedly and is expected to set cash registers jingling according to early trends.

A tweet by Taran Adarsh suggests that ‘Sooryavanshi’ is witnessing a blockbuster start. Taran tweeted, “Day 1 trends: #Sooryavanshi  on... A BLOCKBUSTER start... #CinemasAreBack”.

An overjoyed Akshay Kumar also posted a video on his social media thanking the audience for their response to ‘Sooryavanshi’. He wrote while sharing the video, “Pardon the goofy gig am overjoyed! Thank you SO much for embracing cinemas back in your lives. The super response is not just for Team #Sooryavanshi, it is a mark of faith that’ll bring joy and prosperity back in our film industry. We are nothing without you. Sheer gratitude”.

In another post, the actor revealed why the movie is so special to him. He posted a click from the sets of the ‘Sooryavanshi’ and wrote, “I’ve done a lot of action in my career…hanging from helicopters, jumping across buildings, crazy bike chases. #Sooryavanshi is special to me in more ways than one, it is my ode to that old school action but on a grander scale”.

Other than Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif, ‘Sooryavanshi’ also witnesses Ajay Devgn and Ranveer Singh in extended cameo roles, where they will be reprising their roles as Singham and Simmba’.
