Shahid Kapoor & Ishaan Khatter's Maternal Grandmother Passes Away; 'Dhadak' Actor Pens Heartfelt Note

Shahid Kapoor's brother Ishaan Khatter, who romanced Janhvi Kapoor in 'Dhadak', pens an emotional note on grandmother's death.

New Delhi: Bollywood stars Shahid Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter are currently going through a tough time. Shahid-Ishaan & their whole family is grief-striken as their maternal grandmother & Neelima Azim's mother Khadija Azeem is no more. Ishaan Khatter, who was last seen opposite Janhvi Kapoor in 'Dhadak', took to his social media account yesterday (January 18) and penned an emotional note remembering her. Ishaan took to Instagram to share few throwback pictures of his grandmother Khadija, who was a freedom fighter, writer and editor.

This is indeed a tough time for Shahid, Ishaan & their family. Here's hoping that they gathers the strength to cope up with the loss. May her soul rest in peace! On the career front, Ishaan Khatter has projects like Mira Naira's 'A Suitable Boy' and Ali Abbas Zafar's 'Khaali Peeli' co-starring Ananya Panday. Whereas, Shahid will next be seen in the Hindi remake of 'Jersey' which is scheduled to release on August 28 this year.
