New Delhi: Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan recently visited the revered shrine of Mata Vaishno Devi in Katra. On social media, a video of the actor from the shrine went viral. Dunki, directed by Rajkumar Hirani, is Shah Rukh's upcoming movie, and the actor is eagerly anticipating its release. The actor is making his third visit of the year; he had visited before the releases of his past two flicks, Jawan and Pathaan.
PTI on X posted a video of Shah Rukh being escorted by a few police officers and members of his entourage. His manager Pooja Dadlani is beside him. The actor went undercover in order to escape public notice. To hide his identity, he wore a cap and a large black jacket.

On Monday, SRK took to his Twitter handle to explain the significance of the film's title ahead of the release of the latest song 'O Maahi' and wrote, "Because everybody asks, what does Dunki mean? Dunki means being apart from your loved ones. And when you are with them, one feels the moment should last till the end of time. O Maahi O Maahi….feel the love before the sun sets on the horizon today!"
He later shared the song on his handle and captioned it, "Love, ishq, mohabbat, pyaar...yeh sabka izhaar karne mein hum waqt laga dete hain. Sometimes we don’t get the chance. Sometimes we don’t find the words. This song is dedicated to all the lovers who feel like this…So say it Now…Today…Tomorrow, and Everyday…” Mere Ishq pe Haq hua tera…Lo mein qayamat tak hua tera…” with this song. Make this your love song…my lover friends."
Dunki, starring Shah Rukh Khan, Taapsee Pannu, Vicky Kaushal, Boman Irani, and others, is expected to release in theatres worldwide on December 21, 2023.
