Saina Nehwal Biopic: Badminton Star REACTS To Parineeti Chopra's UNSEEN Look From Film, Calls Pari Her 'Lookalike'
Parineeti Chopra will be seen playing the role of ace shuttler Saina Nehwal in her biopic.
Bollywood actress Parineeti Chopra is all set to play badminton Saina Nehwal in her upcoming biopic. The 'Ishaqzaade' star, who has been working hard to get into the skin of her character, revealed in an interview that she got injured during the training session last year. The 'Kesari' is leaving no stone unturned to put her best foot forward as it one of the most challenging roles of her career. Parineeti's unseen look from 'Saina' recently surfaced on social media and created a lot of buzz.

Parineeti's look from the sports drama went viral on the internet in no time. She can be seen donning sportswear in the photo. A fan page of the actress shared the look on Twitter and tagged Parineeti and Saina Nehwal. The ace badminton player reacted to the photo and commented, "Lookalike." She shared heart-eyes and thumbs up emoji while responding to the post.
Parineeti suffered an injury while shooting for 'Saina' in November 2019. She shared a post on Twitter to inform her fans about the injury. "Dude. Me and the entire team of Saina have been taking so much care that I shouldn't get an injury, but shit happens! Will rest it as much as I can before I can start playing badminton again," Chopra wrote.
The 'Namastey England' star can be seen sporting a bandage around her neck in the photo.
Shraddha Kapoor was originally supposed to play the role of Saina Nehwal in the biopic but she was replaced by Parineeti after the 'Stree' actress opted out of the movie due to scheduling conflicts. Shraddha had even started shooting for the upcoming flick in September 2018 but she had to bid adieu due to her jam-packed schedule.
On the professional front, Parineeti has the remake of 'The Girl On The Train' and 'Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar' in her kitty. 'Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar' co-starring Arjun Kapoor was slated to hit the silver screens in March 2020; however, the makers postponed the film's release date due to the COVID-19 crisis.
