REVEALED: Ranbir Kapoor-Ajay Devgn's film with Luv Ranjan to release on THIS date

New Delhi: Two of the power-packed performers of Bollywood, Ranbir Kapoor and Ajay Devgn, who were last seen together in Prakash Jha’s Rajneeti, are teaming up once again for Luv Ranjan’s next and there’s quite a buzz around the film. After delivering a hit with Sonu Ke Titu Ke Sweety, Ranjan is all set to work on the light-hearted entertainer featuring the two actors.  Fans have been eagerly waiting to know when the upcoming film will release and it seems their wish has finally come true. The flick will hit the silver screens on Christamas, December 25, 2020 and the shooting is expected to commence next year, a report in a leading daily suggested. “We are looking at a Christmas 2020 release,’’ Luv Ranjan told DNA. Bollywood trade analyst and critic Taran Adarsh also confirmed the development on Twitter.

“The team is excited to collaborate with the two powerhouse performers. When Ajay and Ranbir had last worked together, the latter was relatively new to the industry. Also, they didn’t really share much screen time in Raajneeti. So, this will be something that fans of both the stars will look out for,” a source close to the film’s unit told DNA. The Ranbir Kapoor and Ajay Devgn starrer will clash with Hrithik Roshan’s much-awaited film Krrish 4. Rakesh Roshan, the producer of the film had taken to Twitter to announce Krrish 4’s release earlier this year.

On the work front, both Ranbir Kapoor and Ajay Devgn have couple of exciting projects in their kitty. The Kapoor lad, who is basking in the success of Sanju, will be next seen in Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra opposite Alia Bhatt. The Barfi actor will also stars in Yash Raj Films’ Shamshera, which also features Sanjay Dutt. Ajay Devgn, who starred in Raj Kumar Gupta’s Raid, is part of Indra Kumar’s Total Dhamaal, which is slated to release on December 7, 2018. Watch this space for more updates!
