‘Baahubali’ star Prabhas is all set to team up with ‘KGF’ director Prashanth Neel for ‘Salaar’. The makers of the upcoming film have announced the release date on Sunday (February 28). ‘Salaar’ will hit the silver screens on April 14, 2022. Ardent fans of the Tollywood superstar couldn’t control their excitement after Prabhas shared a poster of the film on social media.

The poster features Prabhas in a never-before-seen avatar. The ‘Saaho’ actor shared the poster along with the caption, “Delighted to share the release date of #SALAAR. 14th April 2022 see you in cinemas.” Fans have flooded the comments section with their messages.

Prabhas’ recent Instagram post has received over 8 lakh likes in no time. Movie buffs have already declared the film a blockbuster as they believe that Prabhas’ star power will be enough to pull the audience to the theatres.

‘Salaar’, which will also feature Shruti Haasan, is being produced by Vijay Kiragandur. The flick’s mahurat took place earlier this year in Hyderabad.

Talking about Prabhas, the Pan-India star will be next seen in ‘Radhe Shyam’ opposite Pooja Hegde. He will be seen romancing Hegde for the first time on the big screen. The film is slated to release on July 30, 2021.

The ‘Rebel’ star also has ‘Adipurush’ and Ashwin Nag’s upcoming project in pipeline. He will be seen sharing screen-space with Saif Ali Khan in ‘Adipurush’. The ‘Mr Perfect’ actor will be seen alongside Deepika Padukone in Ashwin Nag’s next flick.

‘Salaar’ will be helmed by Prashanth Neel, who has directed ‘KGF Chapter 2’. The teaser of ‘KGF 2’ has received a mind-boggling response from the audience. The period action film will entertain the fans from July 16, 2021. It stars Yash and Sanjay Dutt in lead roles.
