Netizens Brutally Troll Neha Dhupia For Urging People To ‘Stop Bursting Firecrackers’

New Delhi: The festival of light, Diwali is celebrated all around the country with full fervour and enthusiasm. People celebrate this special occasion by lighting diyas and burning firecrackers. However, owing to the current environmental issues, a section of people from the society avoids burning firecrackers for better air quality.

Many celebrities from the film industry are also against burning firecrackers and also urges their fans to take care of the environment. Bollywood actress Neha Dhupia is also against burning firecrackers as in one of her recent tweets, she urged people to ‘stop burning firecrackers’. She further wrote in her post that it is not only ‘hurting the environment’ but also the children.

The ‘Sanak’ actress tweeted, “Pls stop bursting firecrackers Firecracker.. it’s hurting the environment, it’s hurting us , it’s hurting our children … please”.

While Neha Dhupia tweeted for the betterment of the environment, a section of people could not take it in a positive way and started trolling the actress. Take a look at some of the tweets from users here:

The ‘A Thursday’ actress shared some pictures on her Instagram from her Diwali celebration with her husband Angad Bedi. She wrote while sharing the post, “#happydiwali from ours to yours … love and light sparkle and shine ! ……. ( #notetoself … best time to take pictures is after the kids are tucked into bed)”.

Neha Dhupia welcomed her second child, a baby boy, on October 3, 2021. She and her husband Angad Bedi are already proud parents to a daughter named Mehr Dhupia Bedi.
