Kartik Aaryan and Triptii Dimri are going to be seen together on screen.

New Delhi: Kartik Aaryan and Triptii Dimri are going to be seen together on screen. Earlier this year, Kartik Aaryan had joined hands with Bhushan Kumar and Anurag Basu for the third installment of ‘Aashiqui 3’. Now, Pinkvilla has reported that ‘Animal’ fame Triptii Dimri will be seen with Kartik Aaryan in ‘Aashiqui 3’.

The project is slated to go into production in 2024, adding a new chapter to the iconic ‘Aashiqui’ franchise.

As per Pinkvilla, which quotes a source close to the development, “Triptii has been the talk of the town following the historic success of Animal and the makers feel that she would set the screen on fire with Kartik Aaryan. The conversations have been on for quite some time and the makers have now locked her as the female lead.”

As per the same report, the Anurag Basu directorial will go on floors in the first quarter of 2024 and the other members will also be finalised soon.

The same source, quoted earlier, told Pinkvilla, "It’s a new space for Kartik too and he will be looking to explore the intense side of romance. He has been a graduate of rom-coms and will now be switching zones to another world of love stories. He is also very excited to embark on this journey.”

As per the same source, Kartik Aaryan and Triptii Dimri will be doing some workshops and script reading sessions before the film goes on floors.

'Aashiqui 3' will mark Kartik and Triptii's first collaboration.

Meanwhile, on the work front for Kartik Aaryan, the actor will soon be reuniting with Anees Bazmee, who directed 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3', which will be released on Diwali 2024. This will mark Kartik Aaryan's second collaboration with Aneez Bazmee, after delivering the box office hit 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2' in 2022.
