Raveena Tandon REACTS On Akshay Kumar Not Mentioning Her Name In ‘Tip Tip Barsa Paani’ Tweet

Here's what Raveena Tandon said when asked about Akshay Kumar not mentioning her name in his tweet on 'Tip Tip Barsa Paani'.

New Delhi: Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif are all set to team up again once again for Rohit Shetty’s ‘Sooryavanshi’. The makers of the upcoming cop drama will recreate the song ‘Tip Tip Barsa Paani’ from Akshay Kumar and Raveena Tandon’s ‘Mohra. Khiladi Kumar, who will be next seen in ‘Mission Mangal’, had earlier tweeted about recreating the song but he didn’t mention Raveena Tandon in his tweet. "I would’ve definitely been disappointed if any other actor would’ve recreated 'Tip Tip Barsa Paani,' a song which has been synonymous with me & my career & I can’t thank Ratan Jain Ji enough. At times like these you realize, we may have come a long way but we also go back a long way", the ‘PadMan’ actor wrote on the micro-blogging site. Check out his tweet!

Akshay Kumar’s tweet didn’t go down with some of the users on Twitter and they trolled him for not giving credit to his co-star Raveena Tandon, who also featured in the song. When Raveena was asked Akshay not mentioning her name in his tweet on ‘Tip Tip Barsa Paani’, the actress told Hindustan Times that she hasn’t seen or read the tweet. The ‘Laadla’ actress further told the daily that she loves remixes and a peppy & good update to ‘Tip Tip Barsa Paani’ would be great. Raveena Tandon is currently seen as a judge on dance reality show ‘Nach Baliye 9’. The show is produced by Bollywood superstar Salman Khan.

Talking about ‘Sooryavanshi’, the film will hit the silver screens on March 27 next year.  Katrina Kaif and Akshay Kumar have reportedly wrapped up the shoot for the remake of ‘Tip Tip Barsa Paani’. Watch this space for more updates!
