‘Mohabbatein’ Turns 20: Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan Share Special Message Reminiscing The Iconic Movie

Shah Rukh Khan took to his Twitter and shared a special voice note as he once again delivers the famous dialogue ‘Pyaar Kaisa Hota Hai’ from ‘Mohabbatein’ quoting Raj Aryan.

New Delhi: ‘Mohabbatein’ is a musical romantic drama which released in the year 2000. The movie starred Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in the lead roles. ‘Mohabbatein’ marks Aditya Chopra’s second directorial venture and also stars Uday Chopra, Shamita Shetty, Jugal Hansraj, Kim Sharma, Jimmy Shergill, Preeti Jhangiani in pivotal roles. This film received lots of love from the audience and was billed as the most expensive Hindi film to that point. Today, as the iconic film turns 20 years, Shah Rukh took a look back and shared his memories from 20 years before. The ‘Don’ actor took to his Twitter and shared a special voice note as he once again delivered the famous dialogue ‘Pyaar Kaisa Hota Hai’ from the film quoting Raj Aryan. SRK tweeted, “Pyaar aise hota hai…saying the lines once again after 20 yrs, still remember how in a small studio had recorded the same with Adi breathing down my neck & Yashji loving it. Amitabh Bachchan also took to his Twitter and said that he is ‘eternally grateful’ for the love the movie continues to receive. His tweet read, “T 3702 - Parampara, Pratishtha, Anushasan .. Mohabbatein is special for many reasons .. 20 years of this beautiful love story, a roller coaster of emotions. Eternally grateful for all the love you continue to shower. #Mohabbatein20 | #AdityaChopra | @yrf”
Yash Raj Films also tweeted, “A film which made us believe that love always wins over everything. #Mohabbatein20”
Both critically and commercially successful, ‘Mohabbatein’ is still considered to be one of the best romantic films even after two decades of its release.
