‘Now Just Rest’: Mahesh Babu’s Heartfelt Note For His ‘Annaya’ Ramesh Babu Post His Demise
Mahesh Babu has penned down a heartfelt note post Ramesh Babu's demise due to the effects of liver disease on January 8, 2022.
New Delhi: Popular South Indian actor Mahesh Babu’s elder brother and actor Ramesh Babu passed away on Saturday (January 8, 2022). Reportedly, the actor breathed his last due to the effects of liver disease. The Ghattamaneni family released a statement after the actor’s death that read, “It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved Ramesh Babu garu. He will continue to live on in our hearts forever. We request all our well-wishers to adhere to the COVID norms and avoid gathering at the cremation venue. - Ghattamaneni Family”.
It is now his younger brother Mahesh Babu who has penned down a heartfelt note post Ramesh’s demise. He shared a picture of the late actor on social media and wrote, “You have been my inspiration. You have been my strength. You have been my courage. You have been my everything. If not for you, I would not have been half the man I am today. Thank you for everything you've done for me. Now just rest...rest...In this life and if at all I have another, you’ll always be my 'Annaya'. Love you forever and ever and ever.”
Also, on the occasion of his elder brother’s birthday last year, Mahesh Babu shared a throwback unseen picture and wrote, “One of my biggest influences.. he's someone I've always looked up to! Wishing my Annaya a very happy birthday! Health and happiness always”.
Meanwhile, Mahesh Babu has also tested positive for COVID-19 a few days back and he shared the news with his fans with a statement that read, "To all my fans and well-wishers, Despite taking all the necessary precautions, I've tested positive for COVID-19 with mild symptoms. I've isolated myself at home and have been following medical guidance. Request all those who came in contact with me to get themselves tested. I urge everyone who's not taken their vaccination to do so immediately, as it reduces the risk of severe symptoms and hospitalization. Please follow the COVID norms and stay safe. Can't wait to be back."
