KRK REACTS After Salman Khan's Legal Team Issues Statement About Actor's Defamation Case Against Him

Salman Khan's legal team issued a statement to clarify why the 'Radhe' actor filed a defamation case against Kamaal Rashid Khan aka KRK.

Mumbai: Self-proclaimed critic Kamaal Rashid Khan posted a series of tweets after Salman Khan’s legal team issued a statement to divulge the real reason why the actor sued him. DSK Legal, who represent Salman, clarified that the Bollywood star didn’t file a defamation case against KRK for Radhe’s review.

The actor’s legal team accused the ‘Bigg Boss 3’ contestant of  ‘publishing and endorsing defamatory allegations’ against him on social media platforms. The statement said that KRK has been defaming Salman since several months with the view to draw attention towards him.

“The suit has been filed as the Defendant has been publishing and endorsing defamatory allegations, including that Mr. Salman Khan is corrupt, that he and his brand 'Being Human' are involved in fraud, manipulation and money laundering transactions, that he and Salman Khan Films are dacoits. The Defendant has been spreading malicious falsehoods and defaming Mr. Salman Khan consistently over several months, clearly with a view to draw attention to himself,” the statement read.

KRK shared a copy of the petition on Twitter and called out the legal firm representation Salman for mentioning Radhe’s review in it.

According to the statement issued by DSK Legal, KRK’s lawyer has stated in court that he won’t share any defamatory post against Salman till the next date of hearing.

“Why only till next hearing? I will Never put any defamatory tweet against anyone ever. I have never done that, in the past also,” the film critic wrote while responding to a tweet.

The actor-turned critic had earlier requested Salman’s father Salim Khan to ask the ‘Race 3’ actor to not proceed with the defamation case. He said that he only reviewed Salman’s films for fun and didn’t intend to ‘destroy’ his career.
