Kangana Praises Karan Johar's ‘Shershaah’, Lauds Sidharth Malhotra For Playing Vikram Batra Onscreen

New Delhi: Kangana Ranaut has often made it to the headlines for her controversial statements. The actress, who is all set to bring her next movie ‘Thalaivi’ to the big screens on September 10, 2021, praised Karan Johar’s movie ‘Shershaah’ in one of her social media posts. Kangana also praised Sidharth Malhotra for his performance in the movie.

Kangana shared two comments about the movie ‘Shershaah’ in her Instagram stories. In her first comment, she praised Captain Vikram Batra and shared a picture of the martyr. She wrote while sharing, “National hero Vikram Batra was a Himachali boy from Palampur, very popular and loved soldier. When the tragedy happened, news spread like wildfire in Himachal, it slid through our hearts. As a kid, I remember being tormented for days”.

In another post, Kangana praised the entire team of ‘Shershaah’ and also hailed Sidharth Malhotra’s performance. She wrote, “What a glorious tribute @sidmalhotra. Congratulations to entire team. It was a big responsibility and you all excelled.”

Meanwhile, many celebrities other than Kangana has also praised ‘Shershaah’ for bringing forward the story of Captain Vikram Batra on screen.

Speaking on the work front, Kangana Ranaut will be next seen featuring in a lead role in the upcoming biopic ‘Thalaivi’, which will tell the story of actor and politician J Jayalalithaa. The movie is all set to hit the screens next month. She will also be seen featuring in a lead role in ‘Dhaakad’, ‘Tejas’, ‘Manikarnika Returns: The Legend Of Didda’ and ‘Emergency’.
