Kangana Ranaut’s Tejas ‘Ready To Take Off Again’, Actress Starts Shooting

Known for playing challenging roles, Kangana Ranaut is all now all set to get into the shoes of a woman pilot from the Indian Air Force.

New Delhi: Every time Kangana Ranaut comes on-screen for movies, she makes sure to bring something different. Known for playing challenging roles, Ranaut is all now all set to get into the shoes of a woman pilot from the Indian Air Force.

In her upcoming movie ‘Tejas’, Kangana Ranaut will be seen portraying the character of a pilot. Directed by Sarvesh Mewara, this movie is inspired by the landmark event in 2016 when the Indian Air Force became the country’s first defence force to induct women into combat roles.

Kangana Ranaut shared an update on her social media and revealed that she has started shooting for ‘Tejas’. The ‘Tanu Weds Manu Returns’ actress can be seen in costume for the shoot in the picture. While sharing, Kangana wrote, “On to my next mission #Tejas Starting today …Josh is soaring high thanks to my fabulous team”.

RSVP Movies also shared the update from their official Twitter account and wrote, “We are ready for take-off once again! Shooting begins on the sets of #Tejas”.

After the restrictions eased for the second wave of COVID-19, Kangana Ranaut jetted off to Budapest to complete shooting for her upcoming movie ‘Dhaakad’ where she plays the role of Agent Agni. She completed her shoot and soon after started the production work for her movie ‘Tiku Weds Sheru’ which will star Nawazuddin Siddiqui in the lead role. The movie will be produced under Manikarnika Films, the production house of Kangana Ranaut.

Other than ‘Tejas’ and ‘Dhaakad’, Kangana Ranaut will also be seen featuring in the role of the protagonist in the upcoming biopic ‘Thalaivi’, which is based on the life of actor and politician J Jayalalithaa.
