Shah Rukh Khan starrer 'Jawan' has reached the 800 crore club at the global box office.
New Delhi: Jawan, the most recent film by director Atlee, has performed exceptionally well both domestically and internationally. Manobala Vijayabalan, a film industry analyst, reported on Monday that Jawan has reached the 800 crore club at the global box office. Shah Rukh Khan, Nayanthara, and Vijay Sethupathi play the main characters in the movie Jawan.

According to Sacnilk.com, Jawan made 90 crore gross on its first day of release in India, 64 crore gross the next day, 93.5 crore gross the third day, 96.3 crore gross the fourth day, 40 crore gross the fifth day, 31.2 crore gross the sixth day, 28 crore gross the seventh day, 25.9 crore gross the eighth day, and 23 crore gross the ninth day. Early estimates indicate that on day 10 (the second Saturday), Jawan made 31.50 crore net in India.

Described as "the emotional journey of a man who is set to rectify the wrongs in the society," Jawan is a high-octane action thriller. The film, which stars Shah Rukh in the dual roles of Vikram Rathore and his son Azad, uses its main character to discuss social and political issues. Sanjay Dutt and Deepika Padukone make cameo appearances as well.
Lehar Khan, Aaliyah Qureshi, Ridhi Dogra, Sunil Grover, Mukesh Chhabra, Priyamani, Girija Oak, Sanjeeta Bhattacharya, and Sanya Malhotra also had significant parts in Jawan. Jawan is a Red Chillies Entertainment production that is co-produced by Gaurav Verma and Gauri Khan.
