Veteran actors Brijendra Kala and Makrand Deshpande have unveiled the trailer of 'Jaan Abhi Baaki Hai', an upcoming Hindi musical drama set to hit theatres on August 1. Directed by Satyajeet and backed by IJM Productions, the film brings together a powerful ensemble cast featuring Pranjal Shandilya, Swapnil Singh, Rajesh Jais, Rohit Pathak, and the late Bikramjeet Kanwarpal.

Set in the breathtaking wilderness of Uttarakhand, the film was shot over 100 days across untouched Himalayan terrains. The raw natural beauty of the region plays a vital role in the story’s emotional and spiritual journey.

Makrand Deshpande shared his thoughts on the film's essence, “It’s a kind of a love story which is different, extraordinary, showing the boundaries of love. The character/story is somewhere creating a mix of science and spirituality, and an important thought is shared through a love story. With great politeness and love, director Satyajeet ji—and he is very intelligent—knows what he wants to create, and it’s very important to know that while creating something. I think it’s a love story, so music, I feel, will have love.”

Brijendra Kala echoed his enthusiasm for the project, particularly the experience of shooting in the hills, “I won’t disclose anything about the character I enjoyed it and want you all to watch it. It was a really good experience working, and I always enjoy shooting in Uttarakhand in between nature, cold weather you enjoy everything. It’s a very nice film; people will love watching it. From characters to story, it’s all fresh and new.”

About Jaan Abhi Baaki Hai

'Jaan Abhi Baaki Hai' tells the story of a young man whose chance encounter with a tourist girl leads to an intense romantic connection. But what begins as a conventional love story soon takes a deeply introspective turn — diving into themes of self-awareness and eventually giving voice to a marginalized section of society.

The film’s music — a cornerstone of the narrative — is composed by Mahesh Matkar and features a star-studded lineup of celebrated singers including Jubin Nautiyal, Asees Kaur, Palak Muchhal, Harshdeep Kaur, Javed Ali, and many others. The soundtrack is being launched in collaboration with Sony Music India, with P Square Media handling distribution.
