The couple is still tight-lipped about their much-hyped wedding, but they have already started the wedding preparations. The latest reports suggest that the couple's pre-wedding rituals will get started with a pooja to be arranged by Deepika's mother Ujjala Padukone. The Tamasha star’s mother, Ujjala Padukone, has already spoken to the officials of famous Nandi Temple in Banglore regarding the booking of pundits who will perform this grand Pooja in the presence of the would-be bride and groom." The SpotboyE report further states that, "After this pooja, Deepika will be seen sporting glass bangles, through the wedding festivities. The Nandi Pooja is performed 10 days prior to the wedding."
