Breaking: Rajnath Singh Issues Strong Warning to “Unpredictable Neighbor” After Pinaka Rocket Launch
India’s Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Tuesday delivered a strong and carefully worded message on national security after flagging off the Guided Pinaka Rocket System in Nagpur. Without naming Pakistan directly, Singh referred to India’s neighboring country as an “unpredictable neighbor,” underlining the importance of constant military preparedness in an uncertain regional security environment. Speaking at the event, Singh emphasized that India does not seek conflict but must remain ready to respond to any threat to its sovereignty and citizens. “We do not know when weapons may be required,” he said, stressing that strength and readiness are essential to deter aggression. His remarks came at a time when regional tensions and cross-border security concerns continue to influence defense planning. The Guided Pinaka Rocket System, an advanced version of the indigenous multi-barrel rocket launcher, significantly enhances the Indian Army’s long-range strike capability with improved accuracy and precision. Singh highlighted that India’s growing self-reliance in defense manufacturing is a key pillar of national security and a clear signal of the country’s resolve to protect its interests. Defence experts see the statement and the weapons demonstration as a strategic message aimed at reinforcing deterrence, while also showcasing India’s technological progress in the defense sector.
