From making his Bollywood debut in 2010 with Yash Raj Films' 'Band Baaja Baraat' as Bittoo Sharma, the actor has come a long way in an acting career spanning over a decade. With his brilliant performances and acting prowess, Ranveer has proven it time and again that he is one of those actors who cannot be compartmentalised in one specific genre.

His debut role opposite Anushka Sharma was that of a college guy who had big dreams in his eyes and wanted to earn quick money. Ranveer made his presence felt in the industry with his debut performance itself going on to bag the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut. The actor won the audience's hearts with his iconic performances in the period-drama 'Lootera', which won him critical acclaimation.

From essaying the role of a boy-next-door in 'Band Baaja Baarat' and 'Ladies Vs Ricky Behl' to playing the intense and terrifying Alauddin Khilji in 'Padmavat', Ranveer has done it all, playing each role with equal grace and aplomb. The actor got into the skin of every character he essayed on-screen and won audience's hearts with his stellar performance. One of his most iconic roles after Khilji that deserves all the applause is Ranveer as ace cricketer Kapil Dev in the biopic '83'. Although the film did not fare well at the box office, Ranveer surely proved once again that he can shine in any cahracter given to him.

Ranveer Singh never fails to amaze the audience with his performances. With several awards to his credit, the actor has marked his place as one of the highest paid actors of the industry in a short period of time. Whether it be his role as Ram in 'Ram-Leela' or essaying the character of Jayeshbhai in 'Jayeshbhai Jordaar', the actor always gives his personal touch to all his characters making them iconic.

Just like the King of Bollywood, Shah Rukh Khan strikes a chord with all his leading ladies, the same is the case with Ranveer Singh. From Anushka Sharma to Deepika Padukone, Ranveer's on-screen chemistry with his female co-stars is worth appreciation. While he has delivered three of his most iconic roles opposite his wife Deepika Padukone in 'Ram-Leela', 'Bajirao Mastani' and 'Padmaavat', he also struck a chord with Sara Ali Khan opposite him in 'Simmba' and Alia Bhatt in 'Gully Boy'.

Ranveer Singh is also known for his quirky fashion sense. The actor never fails to wow the audience with his style statement. From quirky printed shirts to classy pantsuits, the actor knows how to ace it all.

On the work front, Ranveer will next be seen in Karan Johar's 'Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani' opposite Alia Bhatt. The 'Gully Boy' co-stars on-screen drama in the Karan Johar's rom-com is much awaited by the audience.

Ranveer will also be seen in Rohit Shetty's 'Cirkus' starring Pooja Hegde and Jacqueline Fernandez along with starring in another cop drama by the director.
