As India celebrates the birth anniversary of India’s former Prime Minister, Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee, the makers of the film ‘Main ATAL Hoon’ unveiled the first look of Pankaj Tripathi as Atal Bihari Vajpayee in the film ‘Main ATAL Hoon’.
New Delhi: As India celebrates the birth anniversary of India’s former Prime Minister, Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee, the makers of the film ‘Main ATAL Hoon’ unveiled the first look of Pankaj Tripathi as Atal Bihari Vajpayee in the film ‘Main ATAL Hoon’.
Pankaj Tripathi took to Instagram and shared the motion poster of the film. Pankaj Tripathi has aced the look as the former prime minister is looking a lot like him.

Helmed by National Award-winning Director, Ravi Jadhav and written by Utkarsh Naithani, the film will release in December 2023.

Speaking about playing Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Pankaj Tripathi had earlier said, “It's my honour to portray such a humane politician on screen. He was not just a politician but so much more, he was an excellent writer and a renowned poet. Getting to be in his shoes is nothing but a privilege for an actor like me.”
Director Ravi Jadhav had mentioned that he couldn’t have asked for a better story to direct. “For me as a director, I couldn’t have asked for any better story than that of Atalji. On top of this, having an exemplary actor like Pankaj Tripathi to bring to screen Atalji’s story and the support of the producers. I hope that I can live up to people’s expectations with ATAL,” he said in a statement.
Producers Vinod and Sandeep Singh had said that Pankaj was the best option to play the part
“Unanimously, we all had imagined Pankaj Tripathi playing Atalji since we began discussing the film. We are delighted to have one of India’s finest actors playing the part. We also have an exceptional director ‘Raviji’ on board who we are sure will bring the story of our exemplary leader beautifully,” Vinod Bhanushali said.
The music for the film will be composed by Salim-Sulaiman with lyrics by Sameer, while Sonu Nigam has rendered vocals for the motion video announcement.
