EXCLUSIVE: Audit Report of Sushant Singh Rajput's Bank Accounts Makes Big Revelations; Rs 50 Lakh Spent On Rhea & Her Brother

Sushant Singh Rajput case: The Mumbai Police conducted a forensic audit of the 'Dil Bechara' actor's bank accounts. The 'Raabta' actor had a turnover of Rs 70 crore in the past five years.

New Delhi: Several revelations have emerged in late Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s case after the CBI took over the investigation. The audit report of the ‘Dil Bechara’ actor’s bank accounts has revealed that he had a turnover of Rs 70 crore in the past five years. The Mumbai Police had decided to get the forensic audit of Sushant’s bank accounts while carrying out the investigation. The Mumbai Police officials have submitted the forensic audit report of SSR’s bank accounts to the CBI and the ED, who are now investigating the said report. The audit, conducted by Grant Thornton, suggested that no financial transaction from the ‘Raabta’ star’s account was made to those of Rhea Chakraborty. The audit report revealed that Sushant used to live life king-size and took good care of his family, friends and staff. The ‘Chhichhore’ actor spent his money on a flat in Mumbai, bikes and expensive cars. He also invested Rs 5-7 crore as Fixed Deposits in different banks and mutual funds. Sushant, who made a successful transition from TV to cinema, filed an ITR of over Rs 5 crore. He paid Rs 3-4 crore as his home rent and spent rupees worth crores on his manager, staff, travel and household expenses. The ED, which is investigating the money laundering angle in the case, is now trying to find out how much Sushant spent on Rhea Chakraborty and her family members. The ED suspects that a big sum of money was spent on the ‘Jalebi’ actress and her family. Amount close to Rs 50 lakh were spent from Sushant’s account on Rhea and her brother Showik Chakraborty. The expenses were incurred on Europe trip, shopping, spas, hotel and ticket booking. Sushant was financially well-off and used to donate to charities and also spend on his family, staff and friends. An important thing has come to the fore through the forensic audit report. Sushant gave a big sum to money to many production houses, agency and companies. The concerned agency is still investigating why the ‘Pavitra Rishta’ actor gave the money to these companies. The ED is also investigating if Rhea Chakraborty has any connection with the companies or agencies. Sushant paid a big amount as entity payment. The ‘Kai Po Che’ actor has also donated a huge some for Kerala floods and other charities for the poor.
