A Mumbai court on Friday (October 8) rejected Aryan Khan, Munmun Dhamecha and Arbaz Seth Merchant’s bail plea in connection with the cruise drug bust case. The three are among the eight accused, who have been sent to 14-day judicial custody for their alleged involvement in the rave party case.

Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate R.M. Nerlikar rejected the bail of the trio, on grounds of "maintainability", upholding the contentions of NCB’s legal team, as per a report in IANS.

The lawyers of some of the accused, while interacting with journalists, said that they have plans to apply to the Sessions Court for their client’s bail on October 11.

An Esplanade court had earlier sent the eight accused to judicial custody, rejecting NCB’s plea seeking further custody of the people, who were arrested in connection with the drugs seizure case.
