Somy Ali Comes Out In Support Of Shah Rukh Khan Son Aryan Khan, Says ‘I Tried Pot With Divya Bharti. No Regrets’

Ever since Aryan Khan was arrested, several B-town has come out to support Shah Rukh Khan and his wife Gauri.

Former actress Somy Ali is the latest celeb to speak in defence of Shah Rukh Khan's son Aryan Khan who was arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau on Sunday after a drug bust on a Goa-bound cruise ship. Somy Ali took to social media and penned a long note supporting Aryan and his family. In her long note, she went on to reveal that she tried pot when she was 15. Somy also revealed that she also did with the late actress Divya Bharti during the shoot of ‘Andolan’.

Sharing a picture of Aryan on Instagram, Somy wrote, “What kid has not experimented with drugs? Give me a big freaking break! And let this kid go home. Drugs, similar to prostitution, will never go away which is why both should be decriminalized. This is the epitome of a kid being a kid scenario. No one is a damn saint. I tried pot when I was 15 and then again with Divya Bharti during the shooting of Andolan. No regrets! The judicial system is using Aryan to prove a point as this child suffers for no damn reason. How about the judicial system focus on catching rapists and murderers instead?!”She further added, “The US has been fighting a war on drugs since 1971 and yet they are easily accessible to anyone who desires to use them. My heart goes out to Shah Rukh and Gauri and my prayers are with them. Aryan, you have done nothing wrong and justice will be served, kiddo. #freearyan #facade #justiceforaryan” Have a look:

Ever since Aryan Khan was arrested several B-town has come out to support SRK and Gauri. Earlier, Salman Khan and Farah Khan visited Shah Rukh Khan’s residence Mannat to stand in solidarity with the Bollywood superstar in his tough times.

Aryan Khan has been embroiled in a controversy after drugs were allegedly seized at a party that he had attended last week. Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) team busted the alleged drugs party on the Cordelia Cruise ship which was on its way to Goa at mid-sea on October 2 night.

On Thursday, Mumbai court sent Aryan and seven others to judicial custody for 14 days in connection with a drug seizure on a cruise ship off the Mumbai coast. The court in Mumbai also said it will hear the bail plea of Aryan on Friday and asked NCB to file a reply by then.
