After Deepika Padukone & Anushka Sharma, Bengali actress turned MP Nusrat Jahan takes up WHO's #SafeHands Challenge.

New Delhi: Bengali actor and Trinamool Congress Lok Sabha member Nusrat Jahan is the latest celebrity who joined WHO’s #SafeHands Challenge to promote the importance of washing hands amid the Coronavirus scare. She shared a video on her social media account in which she can be seen washing her hands thoroughly with soap. In the video, Nusrat Jahan is seen urging people to wash their hands at regularly to stay safe from COVID-19 as said by WHO. In the video, she said, "It is the most important thing to to do - to keep washing your hands - at regular intervals," and added that it is also important to stay indoors and stay hygienic. Sharing the video on Instagram, she wrote, "Let us all take precautionary measures and wash our hands every hour to prevent COVID-19. Remember to not waste water. While many appreciated her for doing efforts to educate and aware her followers about Coronavirus scare, Nusrat Jahan also got trolled for wasting water and she kept the tap water running while washing her hands in the video. Coming back to COVID-19, the total number of positive cases in India reached 166 on Friday morning with 13 fresh cases of Coronavirus infection.  According to official data provided by the Ministry of Health, as many as 15 people infected with the virus have been discharged after receiving treatment. World Health Organisation (WHO), which declared Coronavirus outbreak a pandemic, started the #SafeHands Challenge. Various known names including Deepika Padukone & Anushka Sharma took up the challenge to aware people about the noble Coronavirus Pandemic.
